Eczema is a long-term (chronic) condition, although it mainly effects children it can also effect adults and can improve over time. Eczema can effect any part of the body but the most common areas are:

• Scalp

The main symptoms of Eczema are areas of the skin becoming itchy, dry, cracked, sore and red. Sufferers usually have periods where symptoms improve, followed by flare ups that can last between two to three months.

Eczema can occur anywhere on the body and the severity can vary from person to person. Those with mild Eczema usually only have small areas of dry skin that are occasionally itchy, however with more severe Eczema it can be widespread and inflamed skin all over the body, causing a lot of itching and discomfort.
